Abstract
The on-line bioreactor identification methodology of the preceding article (Part I) was tested with a series of numerical simulations and laboratory experiments. Results of these studies presented herein confirm the superior characteristics of the proposed estimator and its applicability to modelling studies, or on-line bioreactor control. The sensitivity of the estimation scheme with respect to the respiratory quotient measurement is discussed, and suggestions to bypass these problems are offered. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
