Abstract
The concentration of adrenaline, noradrenaline and corticosteroids in the adrenal glands of adult cats was studied after amino-glutethimide feeding. The animals were treated with amino-glutethimide (AG) for five or ten consecutive days. A significant dearease in adrenal corticosteroids and an increase in adrenal weight was obtained in all experiments. No significant change in the adrenal levels of noradrenaline and adrenaline was found in either group of animals. These findings suggested that AG feeding has no effect upon hormones of the adrenal medulla in the adult cat.
