Abstract
The thermal neutron capture cross section of hydrogen has been measured to be 0.329±0.004 b at 2200 m/sec. This was done by measurement of the reduction in the neutron activation rate of NaI in a water solution when boron of a known absorption cross section was added to the solution. Keywords
