Abstract
The polarisation of photoelectrons ejected by circularly polarised VUV radiation from silver atoms has been measured in the wavelength range between 150 and 160 nm. Autoionisation states give rise to pronounced resonance structures in the photoionisation cross section and in the photoelectron polarisation. The measured polarisation yields direct information on the angular momentum quantum numbers J of the autoionising states and on extrema of the cross section resonances. Keywords
