Abstract
Administration of penicillamine reduced the concentration of cystine in the plasma and urine of patients with cystinuria; renal clearance of cystine, lysine, and arginine remained unchanged. Cysteine-penicillamine disulfide and penicillamine disulfide were detected in the plasma. Keywords
