Abstract
We have synthesized new discogens based on polyphenylated triphenylene, polyphenylated azatriphenylene and hexabenztrinaphthylene. A procedure for the extension of the aromatic core by Suzuki coupling is described, which minimizes competitive reductive dehalogenation. Keywords
