Abstract
Total lipid concentration in 610ml of bovine semen was 4.10 mg/ml, which was equal to 3.75% of whole semen on a dry weight basis. The fatty acids, analyzed as methyl esters, were as follows: (where the first numbers represent the number of carbon atoms: degree of unsaturation, and the number in parentheses represents the relative percentage found) 12:0 (0.6), 14:0 (26.4), 15:0 (0.2), 16:0 (40.9), 16:1 (1.0), 17:0 (0.1), 18:0 (12.9), 18:1 (10.5), 18:2 (7.4).This publication has 18 references indexed in Scilit:
