Abstract
The polysaccharides which are extracted from lucerne with water have been fractionated by chromotography on diethylaminoethyl-Sephadex, and evidence has been obtained for the presence of neutral and acidic arabinogalactans of highly branched structure, and of a series of pectinic acids of varying ester content. Keywords
