Abstract
Measures of gustatory perception were made on a team of nine men who wintered-over in Antarctica between December 1976 and October 1977, at Scott Base, Ross Dependency. Contrary to expectations, no decrement in performance was found, but some individual stability of response patterns and on average a slight improvement in acuity was recorded. Keywords
