Abstract
A new electronic automatic measuring and recording system for electro-oculography is described. The heart of the system is represented by a digital programmer and electronic integrator. The electro-oculographic signal is integrated for both positive and negative half cycles for 20 sec during each minute of the test. Because of the increased sample time and integration of each full cycle of the EOG signal, an enhanced accuracy in measuring the corneo-fundal potential has been achieved. The immediately available display of the EOG during light and dark adaptation makes clinical electro-oculography more convenient for frequent use in an electrodiagnostic laboratory.
