Abstract
In 3 patients with typical angina pectoris and one with atypical precordial pain the cardiac output was estimated by the improved ethyl iodide method. The work of the left ventricle was always greater when pain was present than when it was absent. Necropsy demonstrated a partial occlusion of the coronary artery to have existed in one of the cases. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
