Abstract
New accurate wave-lengths of the spectrum of the high-potential spark between zinc electrodes made it possible to identify the most important line groups of Zn III, after their position and separations had been predicted closely by means of the screening and relativistic doublet laws respectively. The ionization potential of the shell of ten equivalent electrons is found to be 40 volts.
