Abstract
A series of electroconvulsive shocks resulted in decreased variability of the temp. of 10 hooded rats compared with themselves free from shock or with a control group. This decreased variability is attributed to a failure of a temp. regulating mechanism, probably in the hypothalamus. Keywords
