Abstract
"The phase boundary for the thermal dehydration of portlandite has been determined to a pressure of 20 kilobars. The present curve connects smoothly with the previous hydrostatic curve to 3 kilobars. The reaction xonotlite <--> wollastonite + vapor has been studied to 50 kilobars. At pressures above 20 kilobars xonotlite converts to a form that is possibly a polymorph of xonotlite. It was not possible to rehydrate wollastonite."Keywords
