Abstract
Thyroid extract administered to dogs caused decrease in body weight, increase in pulse rate, slight increase in temperature, increased restlessness, slight diarrhoea and a decrease in secretion of gastric juice. The postprandial gastric secretion was decreased, the rate and extent of the effect depending on the amount of thyroid fed and the individual resistance. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
