To Vaccinate or Not?

Abstract
The complications of vaccination produce much more morbidity and mortality than could possibly result from ending routine universal vaccination, or at least postponing it until risk has diminished. In addition, greater awareness of contraindications to vaccination could prevent many complications, and means are now at hand to prevent the spread of smallpox if a case should be introduced accidentally into the U. S.
