Schicksal des Cholins im Organismus.

Abstract
The average choline content of the serum is 3 mgm. per liter, yet individual sera showed much higher values. The addition of choline to active serum is followed by a diminution of the choline. This change is dependent on the concentration and time of action. Serum previously heated to 56[degree] can not produce this change. Following the addition of choline to liver juice or to extracts of powered liver, the choline can not be recovered quantitatively, without assuming that fermentation accounts for the disappearance of some.
