Abstract
The optical rotatory dispersion and the circular dichroism curves were measured for some bicyclo[3.1.1]heptane derivatives. The applicability of the octant rule to a bicyclo[3.1.1]heptane system was discussed in connection with its preferred conformation; the conformation was determined on the basis of nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum measurements. Keywords
