Abstract
Single crystals of Ni5As2 have been grown by vapor transport reactions involving the use of either bromine or iodine. Crystals and whiskers have also been grown in the absence of halogen. In neither case did the maximum dimensions of the crystals exceed 0.5 mm.Ni5As2 is hexagonal with space group P6322: a = 6.81, c = 12.48 Å.Keywords
