Abstract
The acute effect on the airways of a single dose of i.v. corticosteroid was studied in patients with severe bronchospasm. Following the i.v. injection of corticosteroid, the initial response occurred at 1-2 h and peaked at 4 h. Significant changes occurred at 4-6 h in central airways and in smaller airways. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
