Abstract
A C160 Transall aircraft was equipped with five field mill sensors to provide calculation of the atmospheric electrostatic fields, in the vicinity and inside convective clouds. Measurements were performed during the LANDES-FRONT experiment in 1984. Calculations performed with the redundant five simultaneous measurements indicate a rather good coherence for the uniform field model, in case of moderately electrified cells. Some preliminary results are presented and discussed
