Abstract
Hemiaulus ornithocephalus Grev. has been confused with H. capitatus Grev., H. includens Grun. and two undescribed species, here named H. novocastrensis and H. haitensis. A further new species from Russia, closely related to H. includens, is described and named H. affixus. The dating of the fossil deposits in Russia, New Zealand, Barbados and Haiti from which these species come is discussed and their possible phylogenetic connections indicated. Keywords
