Abstract
Petrol ether and chloroform extracts of the herba of Salvia amplexicaulis Lam. yielded a number of hydrocarbons, β-sitosterol, sitosteryl–3β–D–glucoside, oleanolic acid and small amounts of α– and β-amyrine. The compounds were identified by gas– and TLC–chromatography as well as UV, IR, NMR and mass spectral methods. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
