Angiosarcoma of the Superficial Femoral Artery with Distal Embolization

Abstract
Angiosarcoma of the intima is a very rare tumor. A case which involved early metastases to the periphery of 1 leg was reported. Cramping pain, circumscribed clusters of cells and gangrene appear to be characteristic and should be kept in mind, as this condition imitates occlusive arteriosclerotic disease.
