Abstract
We determine Ec(J), the angular momentum dependent energy of onset of classical chaos in HD2+, from the divergence of pairs of trajectories started from microcanonical initial conditions. Ec(J) drops from 0.66 eV at J=0 to 0.03 eV at about J=30, and has a secondary maximum at J=50.Keywords
