Abstract
Strains (33) belonging to 10 genera of Basidiomycetes were grown in different test media and the extracellular enzymes produced were detected. Most of the isolates were good producers of protease and protopectinase, while some also produced amylase and lipase. Cellulolytic (Cx) activity was very poor in all cases. Four isolates produced RNAse. Polyporus ostreiformis produced an appreciable amount of amylase, suggesting the possibility of employing this species for amylase production. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
