Abstract
P. pyocyanea was isolated from the bottles of soap and antiseptic solns. commonly used in hospital dressing stations. The corks provided a nidus on which bacteria persist and may even multiply. Fluids dispensed in small screw-cap bottles were found to be free of bacterial contamination. Less infection of wounds resulted. Keywords
