Abstract
In a few recent publications, which utilized exact-finite-range distorted-wave Born approximation, we successfully fitted continuum spectra observed in a variety of heavy-ion reactions. In making it feasible to carry out the numerical calculations involved, we found the use of properly parametrized transition amplitudes was very powerful and almost indispensable. In the present article, methods used for this parametrization are explained in detail. Keywords
