Abstract
A case of well differentiated carcinoid in the uterine cervix in a 60-year-old white woman is presented, with histochemical and ultrastructural examinations. The patient was treated by hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy with pelvic lymph node dissection. No systemic endocrine manifestations were detected. The patient is alive and free from recurrence 11 months after detection of the tumor. Keywords
