Abstract
Lithium tri-t-butoxyhydroaluminate, sodium tetrahydroborate and lithium tetrahydroborate, in stoichiometric amounts, reduce benzaldehyde in the presence of acetophenone or butanal in the presence of butanone. Lithium tetrahydroaluminate and lithium cyanatohydroborate are less selective.Keywords
