Abstract
The purpose of this investigation was to clarify the time course of the events of the 2 processes and to examine any interaction between them. The results indicate that the kinetics of the 2 processes show rather marked differences and that the 2 processes themselves are independent; that is, recovery from sublethal damage has no effect on the ability of a cell to recover from subsequently induced lethal damage. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
