Anterior Interosseous-Nerve Paralysis as a Complication of Supracondylar Fractures of the Humerus in Children

Abstract
Six cases of paralysis of the anterior interosseous nerve are presented associated with supracondylar humeral fractures in children. Traction is proposed as the mechanism of the paralysis, the distracting elements being the proximal fragment of the humerus and a tethering structure in the forearm.
