Abstract
Synopsis: Some seeds were capable of germination 5 days after flowering. Maximum germination, dry weight and seedling vigor were attained in 17 or 18 days. Moisture content decreased slowly from over 60% to 47% at the time functional maturity was reached. After this time, loss of moisture was accelerated and the seed entered the ripening phase. Keywords
