Abstract
A narrow gap, optically contacted Fabry-Perot interferometer is described for use as a tunable filter in direct astronomical electronography with a Spectracon image converter. Piezoelectric ceramic spacers are employed to adjust plate parallelism and separation which, immediately before observations, are simultaneously monitored by a novel, spectroscopic method. Keywords
