THE VALUE OF NEPHROTOMOGRAPHY IN THE DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF ABDOMINAL MASSES

Abstract
With the rapid development in experience, contrast material and equipment, a relatively complicated series of studies have gradually slipped into the realm of conventional radiology. Never before has so much reliable information been available with so little risk and discomfort to the patient. Many believe that it is no longer acceptable to know on1y that an abnormal mass exists in the abdomen, but rather, that our obligation is to define its relationship to other vital organ systems, to evaluate its blood supply and, to the greatest degree, to define its anatomic characteristics.
