We compared ranibizumab — a recombinant, humanized, monoclonal antibody Fab that neutralizes all active forms of vascular endothelial growth factor A — with photodynamic therapy with verteporfin in the treatment of predominantly classic neovascular age-related macular degeneration.Keywords
