Abstract
Accurate wavelengths for the 4p65p 2 P1/2–4p55s5p 4 S3/2, 4p65p 2 P3/2–4p55s5p 4 S3/2, and 4p64d 2 D3/2,5/2–4p55s4d 4 P5/2 transitions of Rb i have been measured by photographing a sliding-spark light source with a 10.7-m normal-incidence vacuum spectrograph. The energies of the 4p55s5p 4 S3/2 and 4p55s4d 4 P5/2 levels were determined as 134 250.1±0.4 cm1 and 136 806.4±0.4 cm1, respectively.
