Abstract
A more general relationship (‘state equation’) between housing costs and population density is deduced by an improved version of an earlier argument (Amson, 1972a). The relative importance of land factors in housing production, and the consumer's personal housing-cost index, can be used as parameters in the relationship. Keywords
