Abstract
A method to determine complement titers has been descr. For 52 control children the value ranged between 0.84-3 units of complement. In nephritis, values were low. No immunologic differences were observed between nephrotic syndrome in glomerulonephritis and pure nephrosis. Diuresis was accompanied by the return of complement to normal values. Keywords
