Abstract
A procedure is described by which the design of a corner fed nearly square microstrip patch antenna is optimised with respect to the perturbation element in order to produce circular polarisation. New fast form expressions are used to determine the individual orthogonal mode impedances based on the Green's function approach.Keywords
