Abstract
The factors of the first state in and the first and second states in have been measured by perturbed angular correlation using Ge(Li) and NaI(Tl) spectrometers. The results are , , and . While the first and second quoted results agree well with calculation based on collective models, the last result gives evidence for a predominantly noncollective excitation.
