Abstract
A case of alkaptonuria with ochronosis, arthropathy, and large prostatic concrements is described. The prostatic stones migrated into the urethra where they caused obstruction requiring surgical intervention. Prostatic concrements are common in alkaptonuria, but it is unusual for them to cause urethral obstruction. Keywords
