Women in the Class of 1979: Thirteen Years Later

Abstract
In a more informal manner from that of Brockman, the authors survey and explore the various experiences that they themselves, along with other female colleagues, have had as women in the field of law. The article focuses on incidents of gender discrimination witnessed by the women who graduated from the University of Alberta law school in 1979. Thus, the survey acts as a local contribution to that growing body of literature which reveals the female experience in law and exposes the reality offender discrimination within the profession.
