Abstract
Corticosterone stimulated food intake in hypophysectomized cockerels but decreased gain in body weight. Experimental birds had increased amounts of depot fat and higher plasma levels of total lipid, cholesterol and phospholipid than did untreated controls. Corticosterone did not alter the concentration of total lipid in the liver, but did increase liver weight. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
