Technetium of Mass Number 98

By ($p, n$) reactions on enriched molybdenum isotopes, it has been found that ${\mathrm{Tc}}^{98}$ does not have a half-life in the neighborhood of either 42 minutes or 2.8 days as had been variously claimed.
