Abstract
Experimental.—The investigation of the Zeeman effect in the MgH bands at 7 field strengths between 5,000 and 28,000 gauss is described. The bands were produced by a Mg arc, operating in hydrogen. A powerful magnet, equipped with a Back-box, was used in conjunction with a 21-foot concave grating.
