Abstract
A method is given to distinguish between the solutions of the dispersion relations corresponding to kinematical and dynamical resonances. It consists of studying the resonance energy as a function of the coupling constant. The method is illustrated for potential scattering, for charged scalar meson theory, and for resonances due to unstable particles. Keywords
