Abstract
On trouve de plus en plus de documentation sur la difficulté d'être l'enfant de malades mentaux. Pourtant, ils sont assez nombreux à surmonter ce handicap et à devenir raisonnablement adaptés. On parle alors d'enfants “invulnérables” au “compétents”.L'article passe en revue certains essais de définition de ce sous-groupe et souligne le chevauchement qui existe entre le concept de santé mentale positive et celui de compétence. Il relève certains facteurs génétiques, diathésiques, psychologiques et ambiants possibles. Enfin, il mentionne des expériences qui visent à renforcer la compétence de ces enfants.Keywords
