The Ising Model on the Cayley Trees

Abstract
Systems of spin 1/2 Ising spins on the Cayley trees are studied by the use of a method of generating function. Our models are annealed systems, in the sense that the system can take various shapes statistically. Two different sets of shapes are dealt with. In both cases the specific heat and the zero-field susceptibility show no singularity, contrary to the results for the Bethe lattice or the spherial Cayley tree which has usually been studied.
