Abstract
Nearly transform-limited femtosecond pulses have been generated between 585 and 620 nm by simultaneous narrow-band seeding at 1.053 μm of an optical parametric amplifier pumped by a tunable high-power Ti:sapphire laser system at 1 kHz and sum-frequency mixing between the resulting idler and the pump pulses in the same nonlinear crystal. Keywords
